Title: Impromptu Affair
Fandom: Batman Begins, The Dark Knight
Length: 19, WIP
Genre: Humor/General, with a dash of Action
Warnings: Moderate Violence, ETA mentions of slash-iness, but not an actual relationship.
Author's Summary: Good partners are hard to find - but sometimes they just drop in unexpected. And Joker's going to keep hold, whether Scarecrow & Two-Face like it or not.
I found this in the Batman Fanfic recs page of TVtropes, and loved every minute of it. Basically, it is the Joker shang-hai-ing the Scarecrow into an Odd Couple-esque parnership, which is later joined by Two Face and Harley Quinn. It is much, much better than I've made it sound. And yes, I'm aware of the consequences of linking to TV Tropes

So I've just finished what has to be one of the best fics I've ever read. In case any of you haven't (yet) read it, go. Forget food, sleep, work and other silly distractions.
Title: The Fetters of Fenrir
Pairings: Sam/Dean, Dean/Cassie in prequels
Warnings: Violence, dub-con, sex, incest, character death
Word Count: c. 200,000
Summary: Fetters is a novel-length spin-off of the Beserker series of short stories, by leonidasden, and won't make a lot of sense unless you've read them first (LINK). Dean is trapped, in more ways than one, and Sam is about to find out just how far he'll go to save his brother. What elevates this beyond the million or so other 'brother in peril' stories is a rich mythology, an unpredictable, gripping plot that may just take years off your life, and writing so good you'll forget there was a world outside your computer screen. Every single character is spot-on, even when they only get a few paragraphs, and the author parks you right in their heads for the whole crazy rollercoaster ride. You won't always be happy to be there.
I don't have the words to do it justice. All I can say is, I've been reading fanfic for well over half my life, and this one is one of the best I've ever read. Go. And read.

Title: Gay, Bejeweled, Nazi Bikers of Gor
Fandom: Gor series
Pairings: Gorean warriors and gay bikers
Length: 6 chapters
Summary: While the manly warriors of the city of Er are questioning their masterly needs, a group of mysterious bikers show up at the gates.
Many of you are probably not familiar with the Gor novels. Don't worry, that's a good thing. They're infamous for their misogyny, Gary Stu-ish main character, repetitive dialogue and narration, and needless detail. If you want more info on them, look here. Anyway, this fic parodies all of that and everything else in a muchly-oops, I mean most hilarious way! I found it while lurking on GAFF one day. There was a discussion about a possible comic being made for this series, and this fic was posted as an antidote.

Title: Every Day
Fandom: Fullmetal Alchemist
Length: 1 chapter/6,567 words
Author's Summary: A one-shot in the "Work In Progress" 'verse. Havoc has planned the perfect Valentine's Day for Sciezka. He's never had much luck with women. It's changed. A new take on an overly commercialized holiday... I hope.

Really, anything by this author is fantastic. I love her writing like woah.

Title: Ocarina of Time II: Parallel Symphony
Author: Peter Flanagan
Fandom: Legend of Zelda
Length: 20 chapters, ~160,000 words
Summary: By returning Link to his childhood, Zelda has altered the fabric of Time itself. Now the Hero must begin his adventures anew, face a Ganondorf more dangerous than ever, and deal with the mysterious Arbiter if he is to save Zelda and Hyrule once more...
Fair disclaimer: This is my husband's work, but I feel safe posting this because 1) if I thought it was crap I wouldn't exactly want to show it around, and 2) he's gotten good reviews from people who have no reason to be biased :-).

Yes, I know it's a goofy way to introduce something. Still, this is a fanfic series based on Power Rangers Zeo. Or, that's where it starts out, anyway.
Author: Ellen Brand

Title: What To Do with Daylight
Author: Celeste Goodchild
Fandom: Sailor Moon
Pairings: Kunzite/Zoisite (Malachite/Zoisite), Mamoru/Usagi (Darien/Serena), one-sided Ami/Zoisite (Amy/Zoisite), past Mamoru/Rei (Darien/Raye)
Length: 10 chapters, WIP
Genre: Drama, Action/Adventure with a dash of Romance
Warnings Shonen ai, het, mild violence, Japanese names/terms
Author's Summary: In this alternate universe fic picking up from the episode with the artist's rainbow crystal, Usagi has a Bright Idea and opens a can of worms on an unsuspecting Zoisite.
I found this fic a few days ago and was reminded of my love for the Sailor Moon anime and manga. It took me a bit to get used to the Japanese names for the characters because I've only ever seen the dubbed anime and read the translated manga. The dub names are in parentheses. It has great characterization and keeps the fantasy tone of the Sailor Moon series.

|whitetigah||03:07 pm - [Ranma 1/2] Clothes Make The...|
Title: Clothes Make The...
Author: Nicholas Leifker (Nightelf), co-authored with Ichinohei Hitomi and Katrina Lee Halbred
Fandom: Ranma 1/2
Pairings: I'm not telling :p
Length: twelve chapters (complete)
Summary: Ranma has always had problems with his sexual identity. One day, when everyone but Kasumi is out of the house, he goes to his room, changes, and puts on some female clothes. Kasumi enters at just the wrong moment, but understands, and so starts an adventure into a new life for Ranma.
Comment: an extremely good fic, showing how the old "Ranma-has-female-feelings" fic can be given new life just by inserting a few interesting twists.

Hiya. Found goodfic involving humor, and I need to share it.
Title: Shopping Mission
Summary: In which Chloe buys a litre of milk.
Review: I'm still reading it, but it's so freaking hilarious I have to share. I rarely find good humor fic that doesn't involve cheese and a llama. (But there is a sheep with a mohawk, and footnotes. And ninjas.) The author writes in such a way that the action sounds believable, and it's still hilarious. Chloe deserves one good humor fic, and this is definitely it. If you're even a mild fan of "Noir," this is a must read.
